Shad attended a Pediatric Cardiology Conference in Snowbird Utah, so we all decided to go and have a little winter vacation. We got to stay and the Cliff Lodge in Snowbird for a couple of nights. Shad and I were able to hit the slopes together on our first day there, but I got sick and couldn't make it out again. Oh well, at least that meant that Shad could get out and really snowboard without having to worry about his slow-poke, chicken hearted wife! We signed Isabel up for ski lessons. At first she was really nervous about it, and didn't really want to do it. But we made an agreement that she just had to at least try it one day. Then, if she didn't like it that would be it. Well, as soon as we picked her up that first day she said, "Can I come back again tomorrow?!" We were shocked that she was so excited about it! Of course she could do it again! Isabel's instructor said that she did really well for someone who has never skied before. she picked it up really quickly. At the end of the second day they were very impressed with how much she learned in just those two days. Way to go Isabel!!!
