Happy Anniversary!

Wow…14 years!!! I can hardly believe it’s been that long. Time has flown by…but at the same time it’s seems like we’ve always been together. How did I get so lucky to marry the man of my dreams and also my best friend? I have the best husband! We’ve been through so much together already, and have much to come. I canvassed all of our pictures looking for ones of just the two of us to highlight some of the great times we've had. What a task! We don’t take enough pictures of just the two of us…we should work on that.

It all began fourteen years ago at 7:00am. How did two people who are not morning people get up so early? We had to be at the temple at 5:45am! What were we thinking??? But alas, it was the most perfect day! The next day we drove straight to San Diego California…one of our favorite places…for our honeymoon.

The next year was the beginning of many years of volunteering with Camp Hobe. Shad never missed a chance to get me…whether it was spraying me with the freezing cold hose or throwing me into the pool.

One of my favorite vacations was our trip to the Pacific Northwest. Camping on the beach, the hostel in Seattle, KOAs, Shad losing his wedding ring and then miraculously finding it, Victoria Island, Buschart Gardens, being stuck on a ferry for hours and playing countless games of Phase 10, the Mariners game, riding scooters around Friday Harbor, Olympic National Park, kayaking in the Puget Sound.

We’ve been through two undergraduate degrees and one graduate degree.

In between all of our travels we have so much fun together! Pillow fights, chewed up ice fights, yogurt fights,

Shad dressing up as Santa Clause.

We have been blessed with 2 beautiful daughters!

I love you Shad and I can’t wait to see what the next 14 years and beyond bring!
