Saturday the girls and I (Shad had to work :( ) attended the Birth Mother’s Walk put on by Families Supporting Adoption. This was a great opportunity for us to honor the birth mothers in our life and remember the sacrifices they have made on behalf of our two beautiful daughters. We love them both so much!!! They are both women of amazing courage and love. We are honored to have them be a part of our lives!
We also released balloons into the air in honor of our birth mothers. It was amazing to see how many people came to honor so many wonderful women.
The fire department was there with a fire truck and a paramedic truck; both of the girls enjoyed seeing them up close. They even tried out the driver's seat of the paramedic truck.
The Birth Mother's Walk is an annual event. We hope to make it a tradition in our family. It's just one of the many ways we can show love and honor to our amazing birth mothers!
