Clara is growing so quickly

Life seems so much busier when you have two beautiful girls to raise. I can't believe that Clara will be six month old later this week. I thought I'd better catch up a little and post a few pictures of the past four months.

Two Months

At two months of age Clara weighed 11 lbs and was 23 inches long. Clara experienced her first Easter; however, she slept through the Easter egg hunt, but Isabel was sure to have double the fun for her.

As you can see, Isabel is absolutely delighted to have a little sister. She loves Clara so much. And I think I have the most beautiful daughters in the world (I am not at all biased of course). Clara really started to smile a lot by this age. She is such a happy baby and has such a cute smile. Clara also started to sleep through the night during this month!

Three Months

Clara loves bathtime. Her favorite thing to do in the bath is drink the water as it is sprayed into her mouth. She loves baths so much that as soon as it is over she starts to cry. Anytime that Clara gets to spend with Isabel, she loves. I was able to get a cute picture of Isabel reading a book to Clara. Mother's Day was perfect. Isabel spoiled me with handmade gifts and flowers. The best part was being with my two girls! Clara loves to smile and she has one of the biggest smiles I have ever seen.

Four Months

Clara weighed 14.4 lbs and was 25 inches long at four months. She started getting those cute chubby thighs and cheeks. She also found her tongue and loved to stick it out and keep it out. Both of the girls love their daddy so much and he loves them so much too!

Five Months

During the month of July we introduced Clara to solid foods. She loves to eat food! We started with rice cereal. She starting eating without any problems. She gets so excited between bites, kicking and waving her arms. She can hardly wait until the next bite. Here's a little video of her first experience with rice cereal.
